NEW! All player, coach, manager and volunteer registration is done online using Affinity Sports. To properly register a player, proof of age and payment of fees are required. Club and league compliance requirements for players, parents, and coaches are mandatory. Annual Risk Management Assessments (RMA), background checks are initiated for coaches, managers and volunteers by this process.
Registration for the Fall Season begins in Late April or Early May. This provides returning players a window to register for their old team. Placement on their old team cannot be guaranteed once open registration starts. Please see the calendar for the specific dates. Registrations will continue to be accepted through the summer as space allows. Specific teams are never guaranteed. If their previous team has room, we will do our best to place them there.
Registration is by age groups, you will need to know the U# for each player you are registering. "U" refers to under, with the birth date cut off date of July 31st. Use the Age Chart to determine your child's correct U-LEVEL.
Players wanting to “play up” should indicate this on their registration. An over age player found on any team will be reassigned to the correct age group.
Seattle Youth Soccer Association requires that we keep a photocopy of a certified birth certificate (no hospital certificates) or current passport on file for each player as proof of age. If you are new to Hillwood or have not sent in a copy, please do so immediately.
Registrars are the only ones that can place players on teams. We will do our best to honor special requests for team placement. Players usually return to their prior team. See team formation guidelines.
The Registrars will only contact you if there is a problem with your registration, or if you've been placed on the "Wait List". Returning players who wish to switch teams should indicate their intentions in the comment area when registering.
An assigned team representative will contact players’ families to prepare for the start of the season.
Registration Fees for 2017
U6-U9 - $90.00
U10-U18 - $135.00
Late fee after July 15 $10.00
If you live outside of the SYSA Boundaries there is an additional $10.00 Fee.
Refunds are subject to a $15 processing fee for players choosing not to play. Full refunds will be given if we cannot find a team for you - this rarely occurs. No refunds will be given after August 30.
Hillwood Soccer club provides partial scholarships for qualifying families. Please register online and e-mail request or mail to Hillwood PO Box. Scholarship requests must be in writing and will be reviewed and approved by the Board.
